Why Focus on the Thymus?
The thymus gland is located in the chest, just above the heart. It’s responsible for producing T-cells, which are vital for immune response, and it’s closely tied to our body’s hormonal regulation. As we age, the thymus naturally shrinks, but with mindfulness and specific yoga practices, we can help maintain its function and stimulate hormonal balance.
This practice will focus on opening and expanding the chest area to boost energy flow, reducing stress through breathwork, and creating space for deep relaxation. By incorporating these practices regularly, you can support both your immune system and hormonal health. ✨
